How to Handle Verbal Abuse and Stress in a Relationship?

ya, he sounds like an ass. My husband use to be like that. He's not like that anymore.. hope he pulls his head out!!

all I can say is if he doesnt start being nicer he's never going to. And id hate for you to be abused whether is emotionally or mentally. you dont need that. and he doesnt deserve you.. he does it because you allow it. dont allow that shit. I was too scared to say anything to my husband before but now he knows I wont take his stupid little hot head remarks. Some guys say shit they dont really mean when they are mad. Hope it gets better

when/how did ur husband change?

it took a while and we split up for about 5 months. even then Im pretty sure I gave him too many chances.. at least more than he deserved. Things are a lot better now though. He wont ever talk to me like that now. I put up with it for far too long than i shouldve and I became someone I never wanna be again.. dont let him break you down cuz eventually thats what it'll turn into. is he being faithful? if he cant respect you to your face then hes probably not respecting you behind your back. Been there too.

My husband had a lot of mental issues though. he grew uo thinking women were objects and that he could lie to everyone all the time. it took a lot of work and alot of chances but we are great not. I wouldnt trade him for anyone but I definitely would take back all the shit he ever said to me that made me want to leave. its no fun having a baby in the mix cuz mine is the reason I stayed. if I hadnt had my daughter I wouldnt have stayed. a baby will not make it easier. and he may even become more of a dick so please be careful. babies are stressful and stress can bring out the worst in someone.
