Mine were painful and was told it was bc I was dehydrated

They can be slightly painful (everyone is different) but should only be uncomfortable and should not be consistent! If they stay consistent (get to 3-5 minutes apart and last around a minute) go to L&D! Don't risk anything(: better safe than sorry!

does your whole stomach tighten up? if your whole stomach tightens and it hurts it could be regular contractions. Only reason I know is because I skipped braxton hicks and went to regular contractions. my dr said if only some of your stomach tightens up then thats bh
