I know she's excited to buy baby things because it's first and only grandchild, but my MIL is overloading with me questions about what I need and idk what to tell her because I don't even know what I still need. I'm waiting for my baby shower to happen to find out what I get and don't get so I'm internally freaking out.

If you use Pinterest it has cool ideas on there on what to get. My advice would be a diaper bag, car seat/stroller combo, a ton of burp rags, bibs, clothes newborn-12months, socks, temp, nail clippers, blankets, swaddle blankets, bath tub, bath rob, bath wash cloths, shampoo and body wash, and lotion. That's the basics.

@preggerstone, I get a diaper bag, car seat, and pack n play from my prenatal classes. ive got tons of cloths, blankets and clothes on the lists already, as well as a care kit, and bath kit. I have 2 tubs that my sister gave me. the bottles I figured I'd get myself because they're cheap and binkies too. @txkitten83 I'm having a diaper raffle at my baby shower and my sister gives me what she has left over when her son grows out of them. hubby and I buy wipes all the time as it is because they're nice to have for everything lol
