When does breast milk start coming in? when did yours first come in?

Mine came 4 days after I had my son

I feed mine formula till my milk came. I was actually breastfeeding and formula @avalon feeding. Then my breast stopped producing milk. Now he's a formula baby

Mine came in 2 days after my son was born. My boobs felt like they were going to explode. Worst pain of my life.

@javiersmom, kinda TMI but in my experience my breasts got sore but pumping/breastfeeding was actually kind of a relief but it did make my nipples sore at first

@javiersmom, lol mine was great. It never hurt. My son was greedy as hell too but it never hurt. It just tickled lol. Felt very uncomfortable for me. But he likes it. Some women are different my mom says it hurts. But mine never did.

Your body will produce colostrum for your baby until your milk comes in! It's a thick yellow liquid that will provide your baby with really important nutrients to coat their tummy. No need to introduce formula. I breastfed from day one! It did hurt for about 2 weeks, just tenderness. But it will pass!!
