Do you have to have a paternity test for wic or anything really because my fiancé and I don't want one. I'm tired of everyone saying we need to get one.

I never had to get one for WIC I never even had to have one for my son's dad to sign the birth certificate

you dont need one for anything unless either of you request it. they'll have him sign a paper at the hospital acknowledging paternity If he signs it he gives up all rights to a DNA test there is no reason why you need one at all unless it is request by him or you

bc I wasn't married 2 my husband & my ex from years ago wanted my kid they called him in 2 social services & asked him if it was his kid after he singed the birth certificate & everything 2 ask him if I made him sign it & if he had any doubt that she was his it was funny 2 us but that's all they ever did
