Anyone who had the genetic test done where it also told you the sex of the baby , I'm just curious…

you usually have to count business days, not weekdays.

I was thinking about doing this. do you know how accurate it is?!?

No not high risk @kbuggie20 , my baby is just stubborn and they could do the test via ultra sound and my insurance covered this test so we decided to go this route . And @bat_girl96 pretty sure it's 99% accurate !

It's ok , I have insurance through my state , priority partners to be exact

It took me 8 business days to get the results

I had the blood test done and although they told me that it would take a couple of days I just waited till my next appt to be told. Bc whenever they call you sometimes it's the bad news. So no news is good news

My friends took 5-7 business days, hers was ready at 6

Mine took 7 days exactly when they called me. :) They say it's more accurate than an ultrasound, because it checks the chromosomes.

Ah I like hearing that @final4th ! My doc said the results have been coming in pretty quick lately . She said 7 days but didn't specify business days or not and its through a private lab so I don't know their hours . But also said it could take up to two weeks at the latest but on average about a week and a half .. I'm just hoping I'm one of the lucky ones who gets it early !

@jayylazo, they told me they would call regardless of the results so hope they stick to their word

@firsttimemommy516, I already called on Tuesday just to make sure they would def call me when it's in . I don't want to harass them everyday lol but if I don't hear by the 23rd I will def be calling back !

I got tested around a holiday so it was delayed. Took about 2 weeks.
