I'm laying in bed in a lot of pain. I reached (sp?) behind me earlier when I was in the shower to wash my backside and my stomach all of a sudden got really hard and started hurting. like it literally felt like my insides we're being pulled through my stomach. I laid down, and tried resting, which it helped for a little bit. Then every time I've gotten up to pee, or laid back down in bed, my stomach has begun cramping really bad and feeling strained all over again. I took a muscle relaxer and a pain pill(as directed by my Dr when proscribed to me) and am laying down cuddling with my hubby, but my lower stomach is still cramping. I have an appointment tomorrow so I would rather not rush to the emergency room when I can see my Dr in the morning, I'm just concerned due to this being my first pregnancy and not experiencing this before tonight.
I'm not sure. I hope not because it says it could be dangerous if it's lasting long periods, causes you to have chills & makes it hard to walk. I'm experiencing those symptoms. I'm 30 weeks today, is it common in the 3rd trimester as it is in the 2nd? I really don't wanna have to go to the Dr till morning, I'm hoping I can get some sleep. @vinnysmomma
Maybe call the nurse line if you're worried. I'd wait until morning. I am 38 weeks and still get RLP. As long as it's not contractions or bleeding I wouldn't worry too much. It's probably just a strain. Let me know what they say in the morning though!
