I think I have mastitis.... which doctor deals with that? my OB or general doc? or even urgent care?…

the only issue is my OB is 30 minutes away and I have no one to watch baby...she's just 2 weeks old so I'm certainly not taking her! @mommyof3babes

mastitis can be septic if it gets too bad. you need antibiotics. try an urgent care. @adorableavasmommy

@mommyof3babes, the nurse didn't answer and likely won't call back before they close. so I think I'll take my changes at urgent care.

urgent care should be able to help you. its very important that you get looked at! @adorableavasmommy

@mommyof3babes, So I went to urgent care and they they checked me, they said it didn't look like mastitis (after examining my breast). They tested me for flu and that was negative. They did a urine test for a UTI and said the results won't be in for like 3 days. I will try and get into my OB tomorrow!

@mommyof3babes, very much! I know my husband will have to stay up with her tonight (we usually take turns...him in the day and me at night) so I feel so bad for him 😕
