Okay girls I know I have a ways to go, but what is the best type of birth control? I was on the pill…

I had the mirena for 5 years and never had a scare, I also never had a period. It gave me some mood swings and i gained a little weight but everyone is different. It was nice not even having to think twice about it. I think you can start around your 6 week check up or whenever your doctor clears you for sex, you'll have to talk to them.

I have the mirena it is awesome had to get my strings cut back the only problem I had with it was when I began it had 2 periods a month once my body got used to it I now.only have one. they will talk to you about the birth control options at your 6 week pp appointment I got my IUD inserted at 7 weeks

Yes, I'm going to talk to my dr about it later on but I'm just wanting some opinions. I hear good about the Mirena and some bad. But that's what I'm leaning more toward because I'm so forgetful I'm afraid I'll miss a dose of the pill. @graciesmom2016

All north controls will have their down side, and every woman's body is different. You'll know pretty much right away if it's not for you and you can always have it removed easily. It took me about a month to get used to it

@wyatts_mommy_0106, @graciesmom2016 that's probably what I'll try. When I was on the pill I had to go through so many because a lot of them didn't agree with me.

in my opinion its the best I've been on a bunch of different BC pills and had the depo and by far this one is my favorite. and I knew I wouldn't remember to take the pill every day cause I could barely remember to take my blood pressure pills they put me on after I had my son

Yeah it's very easy to forget to take them. I want to wait at least close to a year before trying for another one. @wyatts_mommy_0106
