I get what you are saying! I got an epidural and I didn't feel a thing. It helped me relax and sleep too. Life saver.

I have a very low pain tolerance as well. I was scared going in, but it didn't hurt me at all. I got my epidural and felt like a million dollars.

It's really not that bad! At least for me it wasn't and I have a low pain tolerance.
