It has been 8 years since my last c-section, I've had two. My first c-section was a week before my due date they said the baby's heartbeat was skipping. The second was also a week before my due date, I was experiencing a lot of pain and they were unsure as to what was wrong so we went in for an emergency c-section and found out I had a concealed placenta abruption. Now 8 years later, I am pregnant again and have had in my mind this whole pregnancy I wanted to try a Vba2c, mostly because you heal faster. I have been seeing midwives the majority of my pregnancy and today met with the Doctor to discuss the risks of Vba2c and after speaking to him got nervous. He seemed on board but cautious. And I asked well if there are complications like internal bleeding, we can just do an emergency c-section at that point right.. The doctor responded with we can only really monitor what is going on by the baby's heartbeat and if the baby goes into distress we will do a c-section or if you are in extreme pain. Mind you, i have no idea what labor pain is like so I'm not sure I could differentiate something being wrong and labor pains. Anyways just looking for other women's experiences similar to mine with a sucessful vba2c.
