I posted this last night but now that more people are awake.. how long until you mommies went into labor after you started feeling constant discomfort in your pelvic area? like lightening crotch and constant pressure, I feel like I'm bulging down there and when I sit on the toilet I feel like he's gonna "fall out", I can't go over a speed bump without wincing and I can't find a comfortable way to sit or lay anymore. I've started to get more frequent Braxton hicks recently too. This all started to get constant and worse a couple of days ago.

that's a good question.... I've already dropped and all of that has been happening to me lately.... I'd like to know the same thing...

the only time I ever felt constant pressures and like i was bulging was when I was delivering. if you feel bad enough, you can go in to be checked. never hurts to check when you're dealing with the life of your baby. sorry I can't be of more help. every pregnancy is different.

I went in to get checked last week and they said I'm already 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced... but I've been having terrible cramps lately, and more intense contractions, my sis in law said I'm probably just dilating and thinning out more cause she was the same way before she went into labor... I just don't want to have her just yet. I'll be 36 weeks on Wednesday, so it won't harm her if she's born now, I just want to make it to AT LEAST Christmas... but I've been told I might not even make it to Christmas...

just call your doctor and ask about it. he/she will tell you if they want you to go and be seen. they normally want your contractions to be 5 minutes apart for an hour before coming in. mine were 6 apart for an hour when I went in. but your doctor should tell you what they'd like for you to do.

I just called and left a message with them. this is my first time so this is all new to me.. my stomach keeps tightening at the top and I'm slightly crampy but it doesn't really hurt. it's more so uncomfortable.
