You can have others hold them to of course. But my son doesn't cry all the time and I hold him. And my husband and my parents. He is 4 months now.

I'm sorry but why else do you do with a baby? You can't spoil a baby! You're building trust. Once they are over one the you can teach them to be a little more independent but before that tou can hold and love on a baby!

I hold my daughter all the time she's 3 months old and people tell me I'm gunna ruin her and I tell them "well i guess we'll have to see .. Iv never heard of a baby getting to much love" your the mama you make the rules and don't let anyone tell you what to do ...
