That's what I want to do. I don't want to be induced or have a c section unless is like a health risk. I don't want an epi and I'm also going to do a quiet first hour

@muvanee, whats a quiet first hour? Yes they also explained how meds slow down labor. That no meds is painful but faster labor and with meds is no pain but much longer labor. According to them.

I agree with it. I've gone natural before and plan to again. I'm currently facing preterm labor and it's scary to me! I want my baby here, but I want him to be ready and able to handle life outside the womb. I don't know if I will make it to 40 weeks but I'll do everything I can to be full term, and when is safe to deliver I'll be going with no intervention UNLESS there is imminent need for the baby's sake.

Most people I know don't want to get induced or get c sections. Most I know want to avoid those things at all costs.

well based on all mommies here on the app they were induced because of high blood pressure. Or others because baby hasn't fully been head down and c section is done. With my boy (1st child) nature took it's course. He came when he was ready. I'm sure it'll be the same way with this one. :)

@alyen2, they said max wait time is 42 weeks. but most women at 38 weeks are asking to be induced. instead of waiting until 42. That they get anxious if baby shows no signs by 37+ weeks.

@mrspavlides, yes I've seen mommies don't want to be induced or c section. but I'm just going by what the documentary said, that it's a whole lot that don't like to wait until 42 weeks even if everything is fine by 37+ they start getting anxious to just deliver. Me, myself I wouldn't be able to wait until 42.

People get anxious, yes. But most people I know want to go into labor naturally and try to move things along naturally. I would never want to get induced or have a c section if I didn't have to.

It's when you have your baby once he/she is delivered they won't take them right away and it's better for bonding and breastfeeding the baby will automatically latch without help

Unless absolutely nessessary to have medical interventions, I want to try to go natural as possible

@alyen2, I agree with you. I'm just going based off what they said. That it's a small percentage of mom's that wait until 42 weeks. they usually opt to get induced. Myself, I don't think I can wait until that long, just being honest.

@muvanee, I'm a scheduled c section, and they will take her out at 38 weeks because I have GD. and that's the part I dislike that they take my baby right away. I only get to get a kiss. that just be nice to have your baby in your arms immediately. I would love that.

Yeah 42 weeks would be a long time. I'd wait that long though. I was ready to wait that long with my son! But I went into labor naturally at 39 weeks 5 days.

@alyen2, you're a role model then. People like you that I've spoke too actually make me wish I would just go natural. at first I didn't want to. but after reading, watching videos natural seems like the best experience. but just my luck because of my GD I have to have a c section early.

The best way to go is all natural! Many ob's induce or get c sections for $$$ ❗❗ My ob scheduled an induction for me to get induced at 37 weeks, with out my permission and I automatically canceled it! I had no high risk, no health problems or anything! but she still wanted to induce me. The best way is to go all natural, baby will come at it's time❗❗
