Is Pregnancy an Excuse for Laziness?
Ok so just an observation here. I notice a lot of ladies here who are just plain lazy. it's one thing to be on bed rest or sick or in pain and can't move. but if you don't get up to do something just because you don't want to or because you're expecting someone else to do something for you, you're flat out lazy. pregnancy is not an excuse for laziness. unless it's doctors orders to stay in bed and not do something yourself, get up and do it. you're grown and perfectly capable of performing simple tasks by yourself. if you're offended by this, you probably fit into this category and you can block me. if you agree with this cool, I respect you that much more. end rant 😄

I don't want them too. I like taking care of things. 😒 I want to drive myself to get fast food and shop lol.

agreed! my husband is okay with the whole staying home because he always comes home & everything is clean & dinner is ready, lunch for the next day is packed, clean clothes, dogs are walked & fed.. the works & not do I expect him to do any of it after working on helicopters all day or being on duty for 24 hrs.. yeah making a baby can be exhausting but the world doesn't stop when you're pregnant.. I should work out more but I think walking the fur babies & all the cleaning & house work sometimes takes that energy away fast.. 3 to r days a week though, I think I'm doing alright

@kaylahammond, that's how mine is too. he doesn't expect me to work. tho I would like to. the walking and cleaning and keeping active is definitely enough lol I can't tell you how many times I climb the stairs in my house a day lol between letting the dog in and out and doing other things around the house, I get enough exercise lol

@arijane316, I miss work sometimes, having my own money & not being stuck in the house all the time.. oh yeah the walking up these hills here in the snow too is nothing short of a work out.. the lifting & squating too. girl! when it's all said & done I better have a amazing butt & thighs lol

I agree with you... I don't have my license so I have to have ether my hubby or my mom drive me places but I'm going to be trying for it this spring/summer... I'm a stay-at-home mama of a crazy active 19month old and 26weeks along with baby #2 and there are some days I hurt so bad that I just want to be lazy but I also do all the house work all the cooking and I'm the 24/7 mom I don't expect my hubby to get up at night as he is the one working and I let him sleep in on his days off.... the only days I'm lazy are the days I'm in so much pain that I just can't do the house work but I still take care of our daughter and do the cooking... or at the beginning of my pregnancy I got bad morning sickness and I could only keep tea and 7up down :( but just to be lazy because you just don't want to do something is just wrong... oh the only thing I really ask my hubby to do is take out the trash as it to heavy for me to take down

I agree I miss being active. high risk sucks and sever ligament pain sucks more. But on my good days of not much pain I will admit I push the envolope. I agree if ya can be active be active

@kaylahammond, agreed ! butt and thighs better look fantastic after all is said and done. @mamabear1416 I rarely ask my man for help. he's a truck driver so when he's home I let him relax

my hubby is an electricians apprentice and is up at 5am and don't get home tell 5pm some time later so I don't ask him for help much ether @arijane316

I'm single and live alone so I do everything by myself anyway. I laugh when I read posts about having someone put their shoes on, help them out of the bathtub and running out to get their cravings. I'm happy for those fortunate to have that type of support but I feel like superwoman because I do it all by myself!
