Has anyone else's mother put them down for being pregnant? 😥 I know we're ready for our little one, but any time I bring it up to her he starts yelling, telling me how she's going to beat the crap out of my fiancé and that she is going to have to raise our child. Yet she is the one that lied about a pregnancy full term, and then broke down when it came to providing proof of the child. I have no idea how to handle this, and to be honest, it makes me more depressed than normal.

Definitely don't depress or stress yourself while you're pregnant hun it's not healthy for u or the baby. As for your mother you're a grown woman & if u have to tell her off because it's not like he's not about to marry u & do the right thing by you & the baby & it really isn't her place to make decisions for you anymore. I'm pregnant, I live with my mother but I pay bills, my baby's father wants nothing to do with me or my baby & my mom supports me 100% because this child is also part of her. Do what makes you happy not your mother & if you have to block her out or don't talk to her for a while just for u & your baby to be healthy then u have to do that.

My mom is the same way. One moment she is all happy about having her first grand baby, then next she has nothing nice to say and threatens to take my baby away because i moved out. And she tries to control everything about my pregnancy.. even the name, what diapers she'll use, what bottles, ect.

I would not listen. You don't need to stress out while pregnant. I'm sure once she sees the baby she will have a change of heart. And all you have to do is prove her wrong of what she says an thinks about yous. A lot of moms are like that with the daughters especially when it's the first time grandkids my cousin has that problem with her mom her mom literally always wants to take the baby bcus she was trying to have a baby her self 😮 but if I was you I agree with @poppys take a break from her you don't need her stressing you out
