🚨🚨i need parenting advice i never ask for it 🚨🚨what do you think is a decent bed time for a 3 almost 4 year old in 4 days and 7 year old ,I want rules set I need time at night to relax and I'm tired of arguing with them about how tired they are the next morning trying to get them ready for school and daycare ...
also what chores would you give a child those ages they never clean up after themselves they, throw trash on the floor throw all they clothes all over the floor then make a big deal when they have to clean it!? I want them to be more responsible and clean up their mess
I have been thinking of getting rid of a lot of their stuff so there is less of a mess as in getting rid of a lot of toys donate then and a lot of clothes they have so much I never get rid of they there's really no more room in the dresser for new clothes and toy boxes are then over filled...problem is with the clothes is what my oldest grows out of his brother will fit same with they toys he grows out of his brother will like ,guess that's what happens when they are 3 years apart

my kids go to bed at 9:30 everyday weekends I let my 7 year old stay up a little later but never past 11

my kids have a basket that their dirty clothes go in & they know since they've been little if you leave your toys out Mommy throws them away so if you really like your toys put them away & as for throwing trash in the floor they know better they've always thrown their garbage away because since they were little I'd tell them take this to the garbage when you're don't what ever it may be

My guy is only 19 months so not speaking from experience yet lol. But I've seen this chart floating around. My guy is in bed by 8/8:30 every night.

@aek91, yes my kid know that about the garbage they just simply don't care they see the adult use the trash,as for the dirty laundry pin they have that as well but when they dump clean and dirty on the floor they throw everything in there including clean which creates more laundry for me then I can handle in a week,I guess I need to teach them to be more cleanly I'm always cleaning I'm suprised they haven't gotten it from me

my 2yr old goes down at 6:30, my 5yr old at 7, and my 11yr old 8-8:30....

@kmally, thank you I like that chart I think I'm going to make them a pretty fairly easy chore list and get them back on a bedtime and not break it even through the Summer

@babycasey, my youngest is usually up later because he's in daycare all day my seven year old falls asleep at like 9 ,my old issue with seperate bed times is the diffrent times it would start a fit but I also need to stop being a push over

I also don't let them pick out their own clothes well my oldest yea but not my 4 year old.

my 5yr old does the fit thing but it helps putting my youngest down first because then she feels like a big girl, staying up longer than her sister, but it also helps explain why her older brother gets to stay up later.... I'm a push over too but not with bed time lol mama needs a break at some point! 😂
