the cramps are more than likely the beginning stage of labor. it might be contractions. start timing them

@lindsey_ Start timing the cramps and see if you see a pattern if you do then they are definitely contractions
@lindsey_ those cramps are probably contractions. Once you lose your plug completely pre labor starts moving towards active labor. I had both of my children within 12 hours of completely losing my mucus plug and I was 39w 5 days with my first and 38w 1d with my second
