I would take him in to the ER. When my son was super little, like 2 years old, he got into a box of thumb tacks I had and swallowed one. I called 911 and was freaking out. The EMT suggested I bring him into the hospital. In the end, he was fine and he passed the tack in his poop, and the xray showed it wasnt stuck anywhere. But it could go either way. Good luck and I hope he is okay!

@mimiz, see I think he would be and about 5 min after he was eating a cereal bar and puked it up. But he's not acting uncomfortable. But I cannot find the hook!! I vacuumed twice and searched the carpet. Gah. Idk. Because I'd feel pretty dumb if he didn't and brought him in. But I feel like kids have swallowed weirder things too :/ idk.
