Mine wasn't bloody, and it was still 5 weeks before I went into labor. Obviously it won't be that way for you though, I was 35 weeks when I lost mine. So maybe it's close.

I was already in pre labor when I lost mine. they say not to use it as an indicator for labor because it can be weeks after you lose it.
