all I have to say is I've never had the flu shot ever and I'm just fine and I don't understand why pregnant moms would get the flu shot, this is why I don't trust vaccines, smh. I'm gonna leave this here
@ash2014c, I actually babysat for a lady that would put hand sanitizer on her hands and he always had a runny nose and if he ever got anything on him even when I went to an ooey gooey messy fun class with her he would look at his hands and then look at her to wipe them off he's a boy darn it!! lol @kmelton12 my child is only getting the vaccines I had as a child and I'm waiting til like 2years old for the mumps mesials shot cause a lot of children are having bad reactions to it where they have to be hospitalized and it delays they're speach development severely and yes!! @graciesmom2016 I agree I'm not putting any one down by no means and @emileebri2522 if that's the case then so be it but I do a lot of research on the vaccines and a lot of them are just no good.
You're supposed to get sick. You're supposed to touch germs. You're not supposed to over load your body with mercury and other toxins. To each their own. My and my kids don't vaccinate. Some do. It is what it is.
I work at a nursing home and it's mandatory unless I get a doc note and my doc said he wants me to get it so I had no choice
That is probably a valid thought...those parents are always trying to prevent things. Sometimes your kid or you just needs to get sick @ash2014c
@tahtahme, I wonder if it's also because their moms bathe them in hand sanitizer constantly? People are so fearful of germs but they build up our immune systems!
I get sick like a flu once a year also but it's also healthy for our body once a year and @jessica415 I'm not looking down on you for doing it I just don't think its safe or believe in it and I don't think it affects you getting the flu if you do get it you can still get the flu @jessica415
As a pregnant mom who did, in fact, receive the flu shot while pregnant, I know how hard it was on my body when I had influenza the ONE year I forgot to get it.. I would never ever ever put my body through that when I have another little person inside of me. It wasn't good on me & I know for a fact it could not have been any better on a growing baby inside of me. The flu can be fatal to anyone & the fact that they have created these amazing vaccines that protect you against that is so beneficial. Although there will always be negatives that come with it, just like anything else, but one way I put it into perspective is by thinking about how many things we do when we are pregnant that are equally as harmful... heck, getting into a car for your daily commute is probably more dangerous than what it is getting the flu shot. Unfortunately, it's just a part of life today. Nothing can be 100% safe, and it never will be. Moms who get vaccinated while pregnant shouldn't be looked at like any less than those who don't get vaccinated while pregnant. We all make personal decisions that help us decide if we deem safest for ourselves and our babies... for a variety of different reasons, some of which are out of our control.
Yeah at my job at a preschool the only kids who seem sickest are ones who take their shots. idk but it makes me sad
good job mama @tahtahme & @alyen2 glad you're okay, I've gone my whole life without it don't see the need for it, I feel like if your gonna get sick your gonna get sick
I didn't. I will be fine. I agree that none of it is good for us ,and have changed my diet to avoid mercury in foods as well.
I don't like them ethier
