I didn't get my milk until the day after we came home, all I had was colostrum until then and I don't think you really need to pump that. Probably something that can just wait until you're at home and not another thing for you to carry!

I would leave it at home. If you absolutely need one they can provide one. It's best to wait until your supply is established (4-6 weeks) before pumping.

While you're in the hospital breast feeding would be best especially if you plan to breast feed when you get home. If you can't get the hang of it or have any questions you'll have a nurse right there to help you. It's better than not knowing what questions to ask then when you get home breast feeding and not having someone to ask. If you need help with the pump maybe bring it so they can show you how to use it but you won't need it :)
