I'm getting mine done when I'm 27 weeks, that's usually the time they do it. It was around 27 weeks with my first as well.

27/38 weeks. Checks for gestational diabetes. Not a bad idea to monitor your blood sugar at home as well because it can develop late in your pregnancy, as it did for me, although it is uncommon for it to develop late in the pregnancy. Gestational diabetes is the reason my son doesn't latch and I am an exclusive pumper, in a nut shell. (They had to give him bottles to regulate his blood sugar and he had nipple confusion.)
