Honest opinion ladies... I've been having a lot of pain at work (I'm a CNA) like A LOT. It kills me. I've only worked here about 3-4 weeks. I really think I want to quit because I can't stand how much pain it gives me. Here's the thing when I was hired I was hired to me a medication aide and pass medications but instead they have me working as a CNA doing much harder physical work. What do y'all think? Should I quit? Should I give a 2 week notice?

I'd talk to your manger or someone at HR before quitting.

Tell them you cannot do the harder physical work. If they do something then you don't need to quit. If they do-quit

Talk to your dr tell him the work you do and he will put you on modify. I had to do that I am also a CNA and it's really hard so I talked to my dr cause I was cramping really bad, I told him the work I do and he put me on modify. So now I'm just sitting at the desk answering call lights

@carlyann00, speak to HR and know what position you were hired for and know your job description. Also read your contract. It usually describe your scope of practice and your job description.

@nurseriri, all the paperwork says I was hired as a CMA, not CNA even my name tag says CMA
