It's actually the sperm that helps start labor by softening the cervix so doing it yourself isn't going to help. @elimarysmommy12 @nicolerawrr

@swtlilangl, I did not know that thank you for the information :P off subject but my hubby and I do it quite often at least once a day... now is that bad because if he thrusts in all the way he does hit my cervix? I don't want to jump start labor too early.

Unless your doctor has told you otherwise or it's causing bleeding sex is completely safe. It won't cause labor until your body is ready. @nicolerawrr

Actually, @swtlilangl and @nicolerawrr both you ladies are right! Semen softens the cervix and orgasms cause contractions both physically and hormonally.
