I am nervous too, so I plan to go on etsy and get a really pretty breastfeeding shawl to use. I am more interested in the baby then what people think of me.

I didn't mind thr nurses and u kind get used to it I always had people leave the room or once I was out of thr hospital I went to another room or something

My MIL gets embarrassed when she walks in and I'm BF-ing. Honestly my baby needs to eat. Doesn't bother me at all.

I only breast fed for a short time because I had really bad pp depression but when I did I dicided fuck it, excuse my laguage, and just whip it out I promise the nurses won't care they see it all the time and encourage it! as far as family if your uncomfortable ,you can by a cover. there is nothing wrong with using a cover. it's all about what you a comfortable with!

I was thinking about the same thing. I don't think I feel comfortable with other people watching me. My SO and the nurses ok, but not family and friends. Some things still need to stay private. I will make it a point to go to a different room when we are at home, and no visitors allowed to come in lol For when we are at the hospital I will just ask the visitors to step out, I guess. But its making me really nervous that whole process.
