So annoyed😒! Went to the doctors appointment this morning. Turns out my blood pressure is super high! They took it 3 times and it stayed high. Monitored the baby, said she seems ok but are concerned. They know my history and that I had preeclampsia with my oldest 11 years ago that caused me to have an emergency c-section at 35 weeks. Yes, I want a vbac, yes I've tried so hard until now BUT I'm not dumb. If my blood pressure is high and there is ANY risk what so ever then get my baby out BEFORE something goes wrong. I will take a csection any day if it's going to mean my baby is not harmed. Then they want to send me home. But before they do they want to poke me to take blood for testing and do so in each arm and guess what...NO BLOOD! These broads miss my veins IN EACH ARM! So now tomorrow I now have to go to the lab and get blood drawn again. When they could've just sent me to the lab in the 1st place instead of doing it at the office. Then the doctor has me waiting in a different room to get a hold of my delivery Doctor and he said to put me on high blood pressure meds, and have me do a 24 hour urine test. She asked if I had headaches. Yes they started 2 days ago. "Do they go away with Tylenol?" No and so I stick through them. "Heartburn?" Yes. "Is it the worse heartburn you've ever had?" Uhhhh I don't know,it's heartburn, sad to say after 9 months I'm sort of used to it! Then I have to go back Wednesday. They never did a cervix check which is fine when I think about it. My thing is, is that I know my history, THEY know my history. If there is any possibility that I might be getting preeclampsia again, take care of it. Don't have me wait and put my baby under stress. The scary thing to me is I can't tell my blood pressure is up. I'm not worried about anything that I know of (until now) so I can't tell when it's bothersome to my baby. Granted yes, I KNOW, I am not considered full term until 37 weeks. Which I will be on Thursday. Maybe that's what they're waiting for?! I just ugh.... I'm just scared now😞
