I got induced but my water broke and I wasn't contracting or dilating so they had to induce me the rest of the way. it wasn't bad for me they put a balloon in my cervix to help me dilate, then started me on pitcon after 5 mins after the pitcon was put in my iv I started having contractions I got a pain med in my iv and went to sleep woke up like 4 hrs later screaming cause my contractions was like 5 seconds apart and lasting for a couple mins at that point I was at a 6&1/2 got my epidural went to sleep got woke up every hr to be checked. I was in labor for 14 hrs which wasn't bad
