Alright so I've had terrible morning sickness for a couple weeks now and my doctor finally prescribed me some Zofran... I told my husband about it and he researched it and he read that Zofran can cause birth defects. I've never been so miserable and would love to take the medicine but I really don't want to do anything to cause harm to my baby. Anybody have any options on Zofran?
get these tablets from kroger or walmart called nauzene. I had horrible morning sickness and they worked wonders for me
my doctor prescribed me phenergan not sure if I spelt that right. it helped a lot he said he was completely safe to take unlike zofran and it has helped alot and my baby is healthy :-)
I've had morning sickness since I was 4 weeks and it isn't going away at all I refuse to take medicine for the same reason
they gave me the generic of zofran. haven't researched if that's bad. try lemon drops from ricola they sell them at target I try not to rely too much on meds I've also heard peppermint tea is good although I tried it and it was yucky. Almost through my first trimester one more week to go. woo! can't wait for it to be done and carry on to my second trimester.
I was given zofran during 2 pregnancies and both babies are perfect. I took the pill starting first trimester till the end of my pregnancies. my morning sickness was horrible
I take unisom and B6 vitamin instead of zofran . I was on zofran for 3 months switched to unisom
What are the other alternatives? I'm desperate! I've tried the sea bands and they do nothing for me.. The ginger gum barely works. The peppermint tea didn't do anything.. I just don't know what to do anymore :(
I took Zofran at the beginning of my pregnancy. Baby is progressing normally. I only had it prescribed after my second visit to the er for dehydration since I wasn't holding anything down.
I've seen women take it and their children were born just fine, but there are other alternatives as well that would probably make you feel more comfortable to take.
I took Zofran and my child has no birth defects but I only took it like 3 times a weeks for 2 weeks so
I wouldn't zofran is proven to have birth defects. call your doctor and ask for diclegus. it's awesome.
My best friend was on zofran for two of her pregnancies and her baby girls are just fine but I have also heard about it causing birth defects, I see the commercials about it all the time so I just think it really depends on the person I guess?? 😕
have you tried sea bands yet? just two wristbands that use acupressure to keep nausea at bay...worked wonders for me bc I refused the zofran
