Okay I know some might not agree but my boyfriend and I want our baby girl to be here within two weeks and I did the math. my bday is the 22nd, she will be 38 weeks and 4 days I want to ask my doctor to possibly help us have her around then because I have a lot to do, family xmas, funeral, dinners, and I dont want to take a chance of being away from home if I go into labor. what would you think they would say????

That's the in thing now a days. You can ask. My doctor ask me if I want to be induced

in my opinion if your not having complications with your pregnancy then the doctor would wait till you hit your due date or have signs of labor... and if hes nice enough he would induce you at 38 weeks cuz my sis with her 2nd she couldn't handle the baby's weight barely walk her whope body was swollen soo the doctor induced her and had a c-section

My moms doctor induced her when she asked. She didn't want him born too close to Christmas. I guess it just depends on your doctor
