Do you have to get an epidural? It might not be worth it if you think there's a risk.

hopefully you don't have to get epidural they have other ways to ease pain ask your doctor

@swtlilangl, @jaleasa88 I will try but honestly I don't think I can do it without it. I'm not a strong person. I don't handle pain well

I have back injuries and have had chronic pain for going on 4 years and have this same fear. My doctor has me going for a consult with the anesthesiologist to see if I can even receive one, and to answer all of my questions as far as side effects, etc. I sure as hell don't need any more pain added to what I already experience, lol, but I'm also terrified that I won't be strong enough to endure labor with out one 😣 Maybe you can ask if you can schedule a consult as well.

@kmlac7, that's a good idea! I think i will but at the same time I'm almost More scared of them telling me I can't have one if I bring it up haha. But yes the pain is horrible I already have to wear a back brace sometime I don't need to make it worse
