I'm a really patient person and give people the benefit of the doubt but I'm really annoyed that myself and my mom have purchased every single thing for this baby. My baby's father was unemployed for a few months and is just now back working but still seems to not help me out. I don't ask for anything but when he says he will get something and doesn't I feel obligated to get it because I hate procrastinating. I will be on unpaid leave and am trying to get everything now while I'm working. Am I wrong for being upset because he nor his family have helped at all? I'm not wanting for anything but that doesn't excuse him for handling his responsibilities. and let's not add we don't live together so he doesn't come around much to help me out at home when Im sick. He basically just comes to my appointments

my sister has been going through the same thing with her sons father since she was pregnant. her son is now 11 months old. document everything: when he says he'll get something and doesnt, when he helps out and doesn't help out. if he's still like that after the babys born, and I'd you put him on the birth certificate, continue to document it, get a lawyer and have his rights stripped from him. if you don't put his name on the certificate, he won't have rights anyway unless he takes you to court for it.
