Ok so this is a stupid question I feel, has anyone's water broke when they weren't dilated or thinned out at all? This pregnancy is so different from my sons. I was dilated so early and now I'm worried about when I get induced, what they will be doing.

I've been induced with both of my pregnancies and each time they had to break my water.

Can they break your water when you aren't dilated? I don't want to have pitocin or the cervadil. @lnk92

my water broke when I was 35 weeks I don't know if I was dilated but when they checked me after I got admitted which was over a hr after my water broke I was at a 1cm

ya I didn't have mine checked at all before hand and after it broke I was a 1
