I have some pots of water on the stove to see if it helps warm up the apartment

turn on your oven and leave it open if you can.

add some dish or laundry soap in the pot and it will make it smell amazing but keep it on low so it don't boil over

oven isn't dangerous if you have a pan of water in it it is without any water. my mom taught me all these fun remedies @bets

water is the key and I don't have gas I have electric so not worried as much and I'm wide awake

my grandma is always complaining about her cold house. and she has no heater at all. I'm going to tell her this.

but it worked it got warmer. and now I feel way better still have my layers of clothes on but I am warm now. and my sons room is near the kitchen so I know he is warm too while he naps. my heaters only start getting hot when temperature drops out side so that won't happen to late night and it kills me because dang my son needs to be warmer and sad part is in this apartment we can't control are own heat :-( @bets
