so my sister got my 10yr (3rdgrader) old the elf on the shelf character this is his 2nd year with it so yesterday "the elf" left him money for Christmas school pictures which was yesterday and he went to school all excited and told his teacher he had an elf so when he got home from school he told us that she had said that he wasn't true and that the kids from class had made fun of him like seriously why hurt his feelings he still a kid in mind come on OMG I was beyond mad like who does she think she is to tell him whats true or not about stuff like that she is only there to educate him about school I was furious 😡😡😡😡

Ummmmmmmmmm I'd being going down to that school and cussing that lady out and requesting my child be moved to another class. Her teaching degree gives her no right to tell kids that Santa or anything else isn't real. What a bitch.

Wtf that's so messed up. She needs to let kids be little while they can be. My sister is 8 and believes in her elf and loves him so much. She would be destroyed if she found out he was fake right now. Every kid has the right to believe that's what being a kid is about. So sad

I'd go to the school! She had no right! I've already told everyone around me I'll strangle anybody who ruins Santa or any other imaginative thing for my kids on purpose and they won't be seeing them for a while.

WTF is her problem why kill a 10 year olds spirit. I'd be going up to that school and ripping her a new one. she shouldn't kill his spirit nor his imagination. As a educator she should be encouraging him to use his imagination
