Yeah definitely could just have them buy it and send it to you then send out thank you cards or thank them over the phone or whatever!

That's what I was thinking. I just wanted to do the registry so they could pick things I need/want.

@chichimango, I'm sure there is. I'll have to look into it. I'm not sure where the best place to register is though. With my first 2 we got everything ourselves or from my MIL, so we didn't do one.

I hear target is modestly priced and exchanges aren't a problem. Walmart is good for a budget. Babies'R'Us is for select items you can't find anywhere but they're expensive.

Yes and I have friends who did the Amazon registry !! And still register at target and babies r us bc they give you lots of goodies plus those stores are everywhere ! I had some people not able to make it to my shower and they bought off my registry and were able to get it mailed to my door free shipping from target

What!? Amazon has a baby registry! Freaking awesome! I think I'll do check out Amazon, Target and I just read somewhere that Burlington does them. :)
