I have been wanting to somehow 'give back' this season. I know just the thing. Our local news station sponsors a program every Christmas for the elderly, called The Giving Tree. You go into a local Perkins and pick a tag off the tree. On it, it will say a name and a small, cheap gift item that the person really needs or wants. I want to pick four names - one for each of my kids, and give. I find it very sad that so many old people have to be alone on Christmas and don't have any gifts to look forward to opening. I can't wait to help!

Me and Manuel did that this year !! But we only had children we chose I loveeee that they do it for the elderly too !! I'm going to research how we can find them awwww💗

That's so sweet. I have seen the children's ones and I did it a couple years in a row. This year, for some reason, the elderly are on my heart and so thats what I am going to focus on ☺ I'm sure there must be a program like that in your area, too! At least, there should be. Maybe if you contact your local United Way (in FL you can reach it by dialing 211) they can tell you the name of an organization that you can donate to. Or, the Salvation Army might be able to. xo Good luck!
