Been having a few mild contractions. Went to pee one last time before getting some sleep. I wiped and my mucus plug was coming out, which it has been for a while now. So it wiped again to make sure I got it all, I was bleeding! Not a lot but I kept wiping every few seconds and there was a little bit of blood everytime. Is this normal? I put on a pad so I can keep an eye on it.

Yep it's just your bloody show. But watch the contractions. And keep in mind that bh and back labor are also signs of labor. Do not be afraid to call l&d and let them know. They can give you advice about what to do and when to come in in case it progesses

@mrsschutte1323 Well I think they're mild contractions. They feel different from the Braxton hicks I normally have. And is the bloody show supposed to come out with the mucus? Because it was mucus and then the bleeding after. I have a contraction timer, but these are so light I can't really tell if it's just pains or a contraction starting so I'm not sure how to time them

Whether they are light or not still keep an eye. My mil didn't know she was even having contractions and barely made it to the hospital.
