My arm was swollen and warm to the touch and my whole arm was sore and I felt awful and sickish. I was fine 3 days later

hmm idk if it is.. i remember when i got mine nurse just told me that my arm would be sore. and it was.

she also didn't rub like an alcohol swab thing around the area before she gave me the shot so I hope it's not infected @mrsschutte1323 @mymiracle

My daughter got a shot (can't remember which one) and this happened to her it was a red hot lump on her leg and we just massaged it,which she hated lol until it went away and we have her Tylenol so maybe massage it to break the lump down

Whenever I've gotten shots, my doctor told me that she wanted me to come in if it became swollen or if I developed a rash. So I'd suggest not waiting it out and call your doctor as soon as you can.

No I meant my Obgyn too. You would call them about it. It's usually not good if it's swollen and they'd probably want to know. You can never be too cautious when there's a little one in there depending on you to be healthy!

@mercy475, The vaccination info sheet I was given at my office lists pain and swelling as a mild side effect and suggests an ice pack. But of course you can always call your OB and ask too.

I was given that too but she just told me itd go away within a couple of hours or by the next day and it just got worse that's why I was worried about it :( @rebcamdot
