I'm feeling ranty tonight but OMG it irks my nerves when somebody ask for information on something that's not safe during pregnancy and instead of giving them the facts people say "oh i did it and my baby's fine" okay but you should give them the truth about it and let them decide for them selves if they are willing to take that risk. Like castor oil just for example. It's not safe. It CAN make your baby poop in the sac just because you are impatient and took that risk and nothing bad happened doesn't mean you should tell others there's "nothing wrong with it" #EndRant

@vinnysmomma, @kambriismommy right! I'm on bed rest so pretty much all i do with my life is research about baby and pregnancy lol I want to know all I can. So even tho I'm a FTM when I see somebody ask a question I try to share whatever facts I've read about the topic not just talking out my ass about what my aunt grandmas second cousin did when she was pregnant 😂😂 lol

Yes! Anecdotal evidence irks me too! "Back in my day we didn't even have car seats and I'm still alive..." Well that's great but I'll rear face til 4 thank you lmao 😂

Oh my gosh yes!! I think about posting something like your status multiple times a day as I scroll through preggie. like, good for you, you risked your kids health and/or life and turned out fine, but don't tell someone else to do it!!
and even more so, everyone needs to educate themselves. you can't always trust a doctor, my friends doctor told her to give her 6 week old MORE cereal in his milk since he hasn't been able to hold anything down for 2 weeks and then the doctor told her not to try relactating when she wanted to breast feed again. obviously in this case the doctor is old fashioned and wrong, but she would never have known that if she didn't have half a brain to educate herself.
if you give someone stupid advice and their kid doesn't turn out "just fine" you're the reason that kid is has seriously health problems but of course it's not your problem because it's not your kid or your life. but it's the other moms problem because she listened to your stupid advice.
