So my best friend & god mother of my daughter passed away on November 20th... its still a very touchy subject, but I'm slowly getting passed it....
I've been thinking long and hard how I want to somehow include her name with my daughters name without changing it... Isabelle Elizabeth Brown, I wanted to change it to Isabelle Elizabeth-Heather Brown, but that's REALLY long... Elizabeth comes from my childhood best friend Courtney Elizabeth. I promised her in 6th grade that when I had my first daughter, I would use her name in my baby's name.... Nick doesn't like the idea of changing her name because were so stuck on Isabelle Elizabeth... Heather was my best friend, and I really want to somehow include her with her goddaughter... My MIL, and SO tells me that her passing is still very new to me, so I should just wait it out and think about it....
any ideas??

I say if u wanna include her name into your daughters name you should nothing wrong with a long middle name I have one. My MIL past last year and before she did we told her if we had a girl her name would be our daughters middle name. I think its your decision she was a important part of your life.

I think if you really want heather in the name do it! It's really important to you. My son has two middle names.

Try hyphenating the middle names. Isabelle Heather-Elizabeth Brown...or Isabelle Elizabeth-Heather Brown. Honestly if this woman was supposed to be your child's God mother I think it's beautiful that you would include her name. As for your friend from 6th grade who is still alive, would she hold it against you for breaking that promise under these circumstances? Isabelle Heather Brown?
