Hey mommies I have a question.. my whole pregnancy the baby has measured a week to two weeks ahead…
Hey mommies I have a question.. my whole pregnancy the baby has measured a week to two weeks ahead of my predetermined gestation. I don't have gestational diabetes either. They determined my gestation by my first sonogram because I was not aware of my last menstrual cycle but when I go back in the weeks it doesn't add up. I know for 100 percent fact that I did not get my period when they said I did because I have pictures from a night that would be when my period happened and certain events make me sure that it wasn't going on yet. so I'm wondering.. have any of you mommies been told that your baby is measuring ahead and your due date ended up being wrong and the baby came earlier but was still a healthy weight and size like a full term baby?

Due dates are usually on 2 perent accurate. They measure it by the size of yojr baby. But in the first trimester, it's more difficult totell.

I'm just worried about going past term and something happening @meagansimone and they said he weighed 3 pounds 3 ounces at my 29 week visit and he was supposed to weigh about 2 and a half pounds.

Very rarely does a baby come on their due date. You can go two weeks early or two weeks late. When they estimate size based on an ultrasound it's also very inaccurate. Even if your last menstrual period date was different you could have ovulated sooner or later than you think. I would just use your doctors estimated due date as a recommendation and expect to go two weeks in either direction of that date.

See my ob keeps telling me that they like to go by the first ultrasound because it's most accurate and I keep hearing otherwise so I don't know what to think to be honest. @kmally

I think regardless of how far along they say u are, ur body will go into labor when youre supposed to (when ur full term, or ready)
