Fiance just called to tell me that his work Christmas part is on the 12th.. Which is fine... I just don't feel comfortable going this year... One of the ladies who work in the office at his job just had a stillborn about 2 months ago... She was having a little girl.. I know I shouldnt, but I feel so terrible showing up there pregnant with a little girl... I can't imagine the pain her and her husband went through.. I do t want to make it worse :(

Maybe if you do go try to kind of hide it with a looser fitting too or something of you can. Definitely not an easy decision. Best of luck.

you have such a beautiful heart! if only every one was like you! but yes, I feel like you should go but try to wear a loose fitting top or something so that its not all in her face. she should be okay as long as its not all out there. I recently lost my 5 year old and I am okay to an extent. As long as its not top conversation at the party or drawing a lot of attention.

I'm really worried it will be... he works will mostly older people and it's a small company so they are all like family.. she says she's super excited and happy for us but I'm worried that it might be too much for her if she sees me... and it's a formalish dinner and the only dress I have shows my belly and I don't have the money for a new fancy dress... I just feel so horrible because she is such a beautiful amazing woman.. I know she is happy for us, but I know she is sad too.. and I am so sorry for your loss @mother.of.angels
