Slightly are you breastfeeding?

My daughter only peed my twice and poopedonce during the time we were at the hospital. And we were there 3 days. The nurses weren't too OK concerned, but that m mi ght be becuse I'm breastfeeding.

@meagansimone, I'm breastfeeding too . He pooped a lot first day and even more second day. Today no poop at all, but at least he peed once .. I'm a bit worried :(

I've heard with breastfeeding, pooping isn't always regular. Unless, he's fussy and seems constipated, don't get too worried. My daughter went two days without pooping and she's fine. Wasn't constipated or anything. You'll learn all his signs and whatnot in like a week. It took methat long to realize everything about my daughter anyways, the cries and stuff.

When I was breastfeeding my son pooped after each feeding. I would call pediatrician if I were you just to be safe! All babies aren't the same but if you're worried call so you can have a peace of mind.

@meagansimone, i feel like I'll die before I learn. Sleepless nights are terrible and this is only beginning :(

It gets better, trust me. First two weeks were horrible. Sleep when he sleeps. It's hard, but give it time an you'll get ued to it. The older he gets, the longer he will sleep. Swaddle him nice and tight and that should help help him sleep. F or the frst two or treeks my daughter was up eery hour a Am d a hlf twp hours. I was so tired, but now that she's almost 6 weeks, it's much better. I still get tired, but it is easier.
