Has anyone been prescribed prescription cough medicine during pregnancy? I go to my PCP tomorrow and I'm hoping he'll give me something relieve this terrible cough. Is anything safe? I'm 23 weeks.

my Dr gave me a paper with a list of safe meds while pregnant. Robitussin was on this list

That's not working. I'm hoping he'll give me something that is not OTC.

I took Robitussin for like a week and still no relief so my OB gave me Robitussin with codeine!

@skettler, i got prescribed azithromycin for my cough. hopefully it works

That is antibiotic that's not a cough suppressant, but I hope it helps you!
