had a check up today. pretty much just said bed rest bed rest bed rest. the twins and I are BORED.…

I know I'm late, but why did you have to be on bed rest if you don't mind me asking. I'm still working and I'll be 25 weeks Sunday. I nervous about having to go on bed rest soon because I would like to work til the end of January at least.

I went into preterm labor about two weeks ago. with contrctions two mknutes apart. I was in the hospital for about a week with different meds to try and stop the contractions. I'm on procardia to try and slow things since my cervix wasnt dilating. and am now home on strict bedrest until they come. I was afraid of it and am not very happy about it but imma do whatever I can to keep them in my belly until they are healthy enough. I still have terrible contraction aboit 5 to 10 min apart through oit the day but until my water breaks or they get worse I'm supposed to wait it out

@cdgfreeman, well I hope they stay put. At least for another 7-8 weeks. My friend's water broke at 21 weeks with one baby and she has to be hospitalized til January. She's fine. My other friend had twins and delivered at 27 weeks, they were extreme preemies but are okay and beautiful now. I think you'll do fine. I've been scared about preterm labor myself. It's scary.

It is! as of now they are confident they'd be okay but want them to be able to go home when I do. which makes since to me. mainly it's just pain full for me at this point. contractions hurt so much. and one of the babies are low and hit my cervix all the time. But I wouldn't change any of it. I'm blessed to have them. @mizg1989
