ladies have any of you asked your Dr to induce you before your due date at like 38-39 weeks?

Typically they won't induce you early unless there is a medical reason to. If your body isn't ready, the induction fails, baby ends up distressed and you end up with an emergency c section.

every Dr is different some drs will induce if you ask others won't I'd ask your ob next appointment and see if they can induce you

my midwife did with my son. I was 39 weeks. if you're healthy, baby is healthy, she said "let's do it" and scheduled me on :)

My dr allowed me to be induced at 39, but I wouldn't recommend it. Let your baby cook momma. I may have been ready but my little man was not, and I sat in full blown labor for 3 days.
