That's most likely your water. you could get a nasty infection.. you should go to l&d

call the hospital and let them know what happened. id rather look stupid than get an infection and risk the baby.. especially since you are 40 weeks already ... but that what happened to me I woke up wet. stood up and more came out. ands it kept happening until I made it to the hospital... id say Atleast call and let them know. And keep changing the pads.

And you won't look stupid. you're supposed to be worried and parinoid and stuff. ago many women go in for things way less than that.
