Just take blood samples. Draw blood. That's it.

If they don't have reason to believe there is anything hereditary it's just a blood test they test your blood to see the chromosome patterns if they have concern about the blood test that came back then they talk with you and a genetic counselor about other test options (which I recommend researching them some are scary like poking your baby with a needle )

They just take blood from your arm like regular won't affect your baby at all .

they draw your blood. plus side is they can tell the gender by it. I had it done :)

When they did my test it was a blood test/ultrasound combined. There is fluid behind the neck they measure on an ultrasound that can tell If there are abnormalities or not
