@kmally, wow i cant believe how similar our stories are! Bt im glad we both did it all natural😀 if i have more kids i rly hope labor goes as far as it did this first time, sure it was hella painful but it went by so fast tht it was managable

Hahah @emiliasmommy15 our stories are similar! I wish I didn't need the ripener to start things going but was happy that I went on my own the rest of the way! This time I'm waiting it out until he's ready to come on his own.

I was going in to be induced and was completely closed and thick. They started me on a cervical ripener (I was 41+1 weeks). In an hour I went from 0-4cm. I started dilating at the same time contractions started. I ended up having him all naturally with 5 hours of active labor and 20 minutes of pushing.

I was scheduled to be induced and the night i went it i ended up having contractions on my own and dialating. i was 41wks n 5days prego. And my labor was amazing! The whole thing lasted 5hrs frm the min i got contractions to actuslly having my daughter and it was all natural no meds or epidural and she is my first also i only pushed for 15minz

@emiliasmommy15, @kmally Did you start dilating before or after having real contractions?

Me. Very common not to dilate at all until you are in active labor.
